DRI-EAZ Dehumidifier Error Codes

Category: Product ID: 4254

Description

Why is my customer getting an ER9 error on the  dehumidifier?

The most common reason for getting the ER9 error is that the condensate drain hose is plugged or restricted. Ask your customer to make sure that the hose is not kinked or plugged and that it is completely unwound when in use. If your customer has checked those two items, then the pump itself should be inspected.

My customer wants to store their dehumidifier during the winter months. Are there any precautions they should be aware of?

Before storing dehumidifiers for the winter in a non-heated facility, make sure all the water is drained from the unit. Your customer can do this by laying the unit on its front for 20 minutes, then laying it on its back for another 20 minutes. This will allow the remaining water in the pump to drain, preventing the pump reservoir from cracking. Additionally, have them make sure the 40 feet of drain tube is also emptied of water to prevent cracking.

How can I get a parts list and pricing?
